Orioles recall Joseph, Wilson and Aquino

The Orioles began their roster expansion today by recalling catcher Caleb Joseph, right-hander Tyler Wilson and left-hander Jayson Aquino from Triple-A Norfolk. Outfielders Drew Stubbs and Michael Bourn have reported to the Orioles and also will be available for tonight's series opener against the Yankees. The Orioles began their roster expansion today by recalling catcher Caleb Joseph, right-hander Tyler Wilson and left-hander Jayson Aquino from Triple-A Norfolk.

Outfielders Drew Stubbs and Michael Bourn have reported to the Orioles and also will be available for tonight's series opener against the Yankees.

Joseph, 30, has batted .193/.240/.211 (22-for-114) with two doubles and six runs scored over 40 games with the Orioles this season. He's still looking for his first RBI.

Joseph hit .250/.286/.250 (10-for-40) with four RBIs in nine games with Norfolk.

Wilson, 26, has gone 4-6 with a 5.38 ERA (54 ER/90.1 IP) and 52 strikeouts over 20 games (13 starts) with the Orioles. He was 2-0 with a 4.56 ERA in six starts with Norfolk.

Aquino, 23, registered a 3.72 ERA between Double-A Bowie (20 games, 19 starts) and Norfolk (five games) this season. He was named the Eastern League Pitcher of the Week from May 30-June 5, going 2-0 over 15 scoreless innings in two starts.

Aquino made his major league debut on July 4 at Dodger Stadium and retired both batters he faced. He's wearing No. 64.

Bourn is wearing No. 1 and Stubbs is wearing No. 18.

Reliever Tommy Hunter has reclaimed his No. 29.
