The Division 1-AA Quarterfinals will include a noon game between William & Mary and Southern Illinois and an evening matchup between Appalachian State and Richmond at 7 p.m. Both games will be carried live on MASN. In his 30th season with William & Mary, head coach Jimmye Laycock leads the 6th ranked Tribe into the quarterfinals for the first time since 2004. It will be the first meeting between the Tribe and second ranked Southern Illinois with kickoff scheduled for 12:00 p.m. from McAndrew Stadium. In Richmond, familiar foes Appalachian State and Richmond meet again in a rematch of last year's quarterfinals. Led by head coach Mike London, the now 4th ranked Richmond Spiders won last year's game against Appalachian State before claiming the NCAA national title. With 20 year head coach Jerry Moore at the helm, the 5th ranked Mountaineers look to take back the championship they won for three consecutive years before last year's game against Richmond.
