Nationals option Maya and Perez, reassign two others

The Washington Nationals today optioned right-handed pitcher Yunesky Maya to Syracuse of the Triple-A International League and outfielder Eury Perez to Harrisburg of the Double-A Eastern League. Additionally, the Nationals reassigned right-handed pitchers Jeff Fulchino and Waldis Joaquin to minor-league camp. Nationals Executive Vice President of Baseball Operations and General Manager Mike Rizzo made the announcements. The Nationals currently have 41 players in their big league camp.
