Manager Dave Trembley made wholesale changes in the bottom of the sixth. Jeff Salazar went to right field, and he opened the top of the seventh by drawing a walk off left-hander Javier Lopez. Ryan Adams, now at second base, reached on an infield hit, and a throwing error allowed Salazar to take third.
After Hughes fanned, shortstop Pedro Florimon grounded into a 5-4-3 double play. The Orioles still lead, 3-2, with left-hander Will Ohman coming into the game.
Jonathan Tucker is playing left field and Craig Tatum has replaced Matt Wieters behind the plate.
Mark Hendrickson threw two scoreless innings, though one fly ball carried to the fence in right. Hendrickson hasn't allowed a run in his last three innings after giving up two in his first appearance.
Update: Will Ohman struck out two and got an easy ground ball in an overpowering seventh inning.
