Britton update and today's lineup

SARASOTA, Fla. - Closer Zach Britton is scheduled to throw off a half mound on Monday and likely a full mound on Wednesday now that he's no longer experiencing discomfort in his left side.

Britton will be cleared to make his Grapefruit League debut after Thursday's off-day, assuming there are no setbacks. He threw off flat ground yesterday.

Chris Tillman remains scheduled to throw off a regular mound this morning.

Manny Machado is batting third and playing shortstop today against the Phillies before leaving the Orioles for the World Baseball Classic. Welington Castillo also will leave after catching starter Mike Wright.

Paul Janish is starting at second base after playing shortstop yesterday in Port Charlotte.
