Triple-A Norfolk catcher Chance Sisco has been named the International League's Batter of the Week after batting .565/.655/1.304 with five home runs and 15 RBIs.

Catcher Jesús Sucre appeared in one game with Norfolk before going on the temporary inactive list due to "personal reasons." The Orioles aren't providing specific information.

Sucre went 0-for-5 with a strikeout as the designated hitter Thursday against Charlotte.

The Tides activated catcher Pedro Perez, who turns 28 on Wednesday, from the injured list. He signed with the Orioles back in 2009 and hasn't played since appearing in one game with Single-A Frederick in 2016. His last at-bat came with the Keys in 2014.

Catcher Carlos Pérez was sent back down to Double-A Bowie after Sucre accepted an outright assignment to Norfolk. The Orioles designated Sucre for assignment on April 28 and recalled Austin Wynns.

Single-A Frederick infielder Willy Yahn and pitcher Michael Baumann are the Carolina League's Player and Pitcher of the Week, respectively.

Yahn slashed .524/.524/.952 with a 1.476 OPS in five games, going 11-for-21 with three doubles, two home runs, eight RBIs and four runs scored. Baumann tossed 6 2/3 hitless innings on April 30.

The Red Sox placed left-hander David Price on the injured list today with elbow tendinitis and selected pitcher Ryan Weber's contract from Triple-A Pawtucket.
