It's been said on several occasions already this young season, but the Nationals really need a win today. They've already lost the first two games of this series to a very good Diamondbacks club, each by one run, and they simply can't afford another loss in today's finale at suddenly chilly and windy Nationals Park.

The Nats are going up against a former prospect of theirs, Robbie Ray, who has blossomed into an All-Star but has labored so far this season. Anthony Rendon is eligible to come off the disabled list today, but he's not in the lineup that has been posted by the club, so for now he's not going to be helping the cause against the tough Arizona lefty.
