The Orioles started the afternoon with exciting news that the team reached an agreement with J.J. Hardy on a contract extension.
2:30 p.m. - Let the media madness begin!

Later in the day, Buck Showalter announced that his Game 1 starter would be Chris Tillman, which came as no surprise after his performance a week ago in the Division Series.
The Orioles wrapped up the day with a press conference officially announcing Hardy's contract extension. The presser was well attended by teammates of Hardy's who stuck around after the team workout earlier in the evening. Even the Birds back their Birds!
