Trey Mancini is starting at first base today while Chris Davis stays on the bench for the Orioles' second game of their series against the Marlins.

The session including hitting coach Scott Coobaugh tossing the ball underhanded from close range and each player driving the ball to the opposite field. It ended with vice president of baseball operations Brady Anderson throwing batting practice to Davis.

Craig Gentry is leading off and playing right field and Joey Rickard is in left. Austin Wynns is catching Alex Cobb.

Last night marked the second game at home this season without a home run by either team The Orioles are 0-2. They went 4-2 last year.

According to STATS, it was the 252nd homerless game at Camden Yards since the ballpark opened in 1992 and the Orioles are 125-126-1. Anyone remember the tie and the circumstances behind it?

On this date in 2015, the Orioles set a club record by hitting eight home runs in a 19-3 win over the Phillies at Camden Yards. Machado and Chris Parmelee each homered twice, while Davis, David Lough, Jimmy Paredes and Ryan Flaherty also went deep.
