The Baltimore Ravens have agreed to a four-year contract with free agent CB Domonique Foxworth, general manager/executive vice president Ozzie Newsome announced Friday. Foxworth, 25, is a four-year NFL veteran who has played in 60 career games (28 starts). The 5-11, 180-pounder has totaled 177 tackles, four interceptions and 45 passes defensed during his professional career. Playing for the Atlanta Falcons in 2008, Foxworth saw action in 14 games (10 starts), recording 39 tackles and one interception. A third-round pick by the Denver Broncos in 2005, he was traded to Atlanta prior to the start of the 2008 season. Foxworth, who grew up in Maryland, played at the University of Maryland and at Western Tech High School in Catonsville. He started all 40 games in four seasons for the Terrapins, earning several All-ACC honors along the way. A three-year starter at defensive back and tailback for Western Tech, he set school records for most career touchdowns (43) and interceptions (14). Foxworth has also established himself off the field as one of the league's most active players. In addition to supporting children's literacy programs and working with Boys and Girls Clubs, he serves on the NFL's Player Conduct Advisory Committee. In the 2008 offseason, he was named to the executive board of the NFL Players Association, becoming one of the youngest members ever to hold that type of position.
