The Nationals concluded the 2019 First-Year Player Draft with a total of 39 selections. The Nats selected 13 right-handed pitchers, six left-handed pitchers, two outfielders, 14 infielders and four catchers. 24 of the selections came from four-year universities, seven from junior colleges and eight from the high school ranks.
