Starting lineups: Nats vs. Twins in Fort Myers

FORT MYERS, Fla. - Hello from the Gulf Coast side of the state. The Nationals have traveled across Alligator Alley for only the second time this spring, this time to face the Twins.

Fedde-Fires-Gray-sidebar.jpgThis is Aníbal Sánchez's day to pitch, but the veteran elected to stay back in West Palm Beach and face minor leaguers on one of the back fields. So it'll be Erick Fedde getting his first actual start of the spring. Fedde, who has had an erratic camp to date, could certainly use a solid outing today, perhaps one of his final opportunities to make an impression in front of the big league staff.

The Nationals sent mostly younger guys on the trip, as you'd expect. But that means we still get to see Victor Robles and Juan Soto. And in an interesting twist, Robles is playing right field today, with Michael A. Taylor in center. This is an alignment Davey Martinez has said he'll probably use this season when Adam Eaton has the day off. We'll see how Robles looks in the corner this afternoon.
