MASN announces 2017 Washington Nationals broadcast schedule

MASN, the television home of the defending National League East champion Washington Nationals, today announced its Major League Baseball schedule for the 2017 season. Once again, all Nationals games broadcast by MASN will be available in crystal-clear high definition, including the season opener at Nationals Park against the Miami Marlins on Monday, April 3.

Other highlights of MASN's 2017 Nationals schedule include interleague series against the Baltimore Orioles (May 8-9, May 10-11), and games versus the Seattle Mariners (May 23-25), Oakland Athletics (June 2-4), Texas Rangers (June 9-11), Los Angeles Angels (July 18-19, Aug. 15-16) and Houston Astros (Aug. 22-24) of the American League West.

The Nationals will have 91 games air live on MASN and an additional 68 games will be broadcast on MASN2. Three Nationals games are currently scheduled to air on national networks in 2017.

Play-by-play voice Bob Carpenter and color analyst F.P. Santangelo, a major leaguer for seven seasons, will again serve as MASN's primary announce team. Carpenter enters his 12th season in the Nationals broadcast booth, while Santangelo begins his seventh campaign with the network. Dan Kolko returns for his fourth season as MASN's on-field reporter.

MASN will simulcast 20 Nationals games on WUSA 9 in Washington, D.C, the fifth year of the partnership between the networks. These MASN simulcasts on WUSA 9 will occur on the Monday, April 3 season opener against the Marlins, and other select dates.
