Jorge Mateo is the shortstop and Ramón Urías is playing third base.
Jordan Lyles is making his fourth start. He’s allowed six runs and 18 hits with six walks in 15 1/3 innings, but only one run in his last two starts over 10 1/3 innings.
Lyles held the Yankees to one run in 5 1/3 innings at Camden Yards.
Right-hander Luis Severino has made three starts for the Yankees this season and allowed only three runs in 13 innings. He’s surrendered 14 hits, walked four batters and struck out 14.
Severino is 5-1 with a 3.31 ERA and 0.968 WHIP in 10 career games against the Orioles over 51 2/3 innings.
Yankees pitching ranks first in the American League and third in the majors with a 2.53 ERA. The 2.08 average against ranks sixth in the majors.
Aaron Hicks was placed on the paternity list earlier today and the Yankees recalled Miguel Andújar from Triple-A Scranton-Wilkes/Barre.
The Orioles won two of three games against the Yankees earlier this month after going 8-11 against them last summer. They haven’t swept the Yankees in a three-game series in the Bronx since 1986.

MASN broadcasters will begin calling games live on the road beginning tonight, with Kevin Brown and Jim Palmer at Yankee Stadium. On-air talent had been working remotely.
Nationals broadcasters will begin traveling this weekend for the series in San Francisco.
Major League Baseball announced that rosters still will be reduced from 28 to 26 players on May 2, but teams are permitted to carry 14 pitchers instead of only 13 until May 30.
Grayson Rodriguez had his first shaky outing today with Triple-A Norfolk, allowing three runs and six hits in four innings in Gwinnett, with one walk, five strikeouts and a wild pitch. He threw 77 pitches, 48 for strikes.
Kyle Stowers, Robert Neustrom and Jahmai Jones hit home runs. Jones, who also tripled, tied the game in the ninth. Neustrom had three hits and two stolen bases.
Former Oriole Pat Valaika won the game with a sacrifice fly off Nick Vespi that let an unearned run score.
Hudson Haskin had a double and two walks, and Garrett Stallings allowed one run in four innings, in Double-A Bowie’s 8-0 loss in Richmond.
Davis Tavarez homered to Single-A Delmarva’s 3-1 loss in Augusta. Starter Shane Davis tossed four scoreless innings with one hit allowed, four walks and six strikeouts.
Adley Rutschman is batting second and catching tonight at high Single-A Aberdeen. Jean Pinto is starting.
